Dear Lucy,
Today you took your first steps. As your father, I moved with you each inch. But not in the physical way. I moved from the inside.
My heart was moved.
I was so proud.
It was just two steps, but I could already see so many more that you have yet to take. The little steps and the big steps.
I could see the many proud moments I know are to come.
Lucy, I enjoy watching you grow. And trust me, I'm growing right along side of you.
I love you Lucy Pearl.
